Fun times with the Boyers!

We were blessed to be able to travel to Fort Worth this past weekend to see Jocelyn, Philip, and Levi! We all met each other early in our college career and have been friends ever since. We've had the pleasure of sharing college, dating, marriage, babies, and then some. It's so great that we can still be friends, even though it's long distance. Here are some highlights from our weekend!

We spent Saturday at the Fort Worth Zoo! Such a great place for our little ones. They loved it!
Mollie checking out some fishies
So much to look at!
Mollie and her buddy Levi riding on an alligator. I'm so glad these two are old enough to really play with each other. It's neat seeing them interact and so interesting seeing the developmental differences between boys and girls!
These little cuties got to break in the new double-jogger! Levi will have many adventures in this thing with his little brother (whose due date will be here soon!) :o)
These guys sure liked exploring together! And they explored themselves out. Sleepy kiddos!
Then on Sunday we all headed downtown to cheer Jason on in the Cowtown Marathon!!! Here he is at mile 19, looking like he was on a relaxing jog :o)
At the finish! He did it! He crossed the finish line all smiles and injury-free. His training and preparation paid off, and he did an AMAZING job!
Here's our runner! He finished 42nd overall (out of about 900 runners), 7th in his age bracket and knocked 7 minutes off his time from last year. This is quite an accomplishment! We're super proud of him!

We were sad to have to say goodbye, but had to get back home to the real world. And guess what was waiting for us back home in West Texas???
That's right, a good ol' dirt storm. It sure was fun to drive home in, let me tell ya. Made me want to turn around and go back! Thank you, Boyers, for going out of your way to take such good care of us this weekend. We loved it and can't wait till next time!!!

Party Girl

Yes, it's way past due, but I thought I'd post a little bit about Mollie's birthday party! She sure is blessed with family and friends that love her very much. We had a fun time celebrating at Gigi and Papa's house! It was a beautiful afternoon, the kiddos enjoyed the bounce house, and we enjoyed the company. Mollie had a blast! She was exhausted afterward, but sure did enjoy herself. Thanks to all the grand-folks who helped make it so much fun!!!
