Mollie is still a Mollie!

We had another ultrasound today and it confirmed that we're still having a girl! We were so worried that we'd get our hearts set on a girl only to find out she was a boy all along! No worries though. We did get some more pictures of her sweet little face!

In this picture, she's all nice and comfy up against the placenta. She's sleeping with her arm up there again and kind of has the umbilical cord over her forehead. I think her little nose is so cute! I still keep hearing that she looks like her momma, but who knows. Evidently, she weighs about 1.6 lbs right now (which is about double what she weighed 4 weeks ago!) and is developing at a very healthy rate. I've definitely felt the stretching! She has a strong heartbeat and wiggles around all over the place. We discovered that she likes orange juice...after consuming a big glass of juice Sunday morning, she seemed to be bouncing off the walls! She did a good job of distracting her daddy and I from Sunday school for a bit. She was moving so much I sat there and watched my stomach move for a while! It's so cool!

Needless to say, we're feeling super blessed. We're sooooo excited about Mollie and can't wait for her to be here. Even though it seems as though we have so much to do before she comes, I've definitely had way more feelings of excitement and anticipation than fear and anxiousness. I'm sure those emotions will show themselves at some point, but in the meantime we'll continue happily enjoying the pregnancy.

By the way, I put a few more pictures of her in the slide show...check out her foot! It's so big already! I hope she grows into them :o)

It's a girl!

So as many of you have guessed, we found out today we're having a girl! Or at least they are almost 100% sure...they said sometimes things decide to show up a little later, but we're pretty certain that's what it is :o) We're so excited!! Jason has been having dreams over the past few months that we were having a girl, so I think that was God's way of getting him geared up to have a daughter. He's had a bit of a fear that he's going to be the only boy in a household full of women, so it was quite a sight to see him so excited today! Here's a picture of what they saw...you kind of have to use your imagination to determine what you're looking at. Or just take their word for it!

Not only are we excited to have a little girl, but it's exciting to know that this thing growing inside of me is actually a person! We saw her sweet little face, her wiggling around, and they measured all her body parts to make sure she is growing as she's supposed to be. It's nice to be able to start calling "it" a "she"; that seems to make her feel like more of a person and it even give us an opportunity to give her a name! Lil' Fell will now be referred to as Mollie Michelle...Jason has fallen in love with that name and even said that "it melts his heart".So Mollie it is! Here is a picture of her sweet little face...who do you think she looks like??

What's funny is that I sleep with my hand up like that, too!

Another reason we like the name Mollie is because it sounds good with Maddox! Cousin Maddox lives right down the street and I'm sure there will be lots of good times to come as the two of them grow up together. He'll only be 1 year old when she arrives but she'll have a lot of catching up to do in order to hang with him! I know she'll be looking forward to some time with her cousin :o)

So although little Mollie can look so sweet and innocent, she obviously has another side to her! Check out this picture...they were measuring her head to make sure everything was normal and here we have Scary Baby! She just needs some cross bones behind her and she'd have quite the halloween costume. Praise God for a well developed skull, but this one made us laugh :o)

Welcome to the Fellers Family!

So as most of you know by now, our family of two is growing into three! After a wonderful 5 years of marriage, we are now pleased to announce that we're 20 weeks pregnant and are growing more and more excited every day for the new little one to arrive. As the arrival of "Lil' Fell" is growing nearer, it's really brought up lots of emotions and discussions about how things are going to be a little different around here. These are exciting times, but it can be a little bit scary as well! Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for this amazing experience of parenthood...and all the joys, fears, heartaches, learning, changing, and growing that comes with it.

We want all of you to be a part of this journey with us, whether you live near or far, so check back often for updates! I don't know how many updates we'll have until the baby arrives, but we'll do our best to make sure we keep you in the loop on all the exciting things happening. We'd love to hear from you, too, so please feel free stay in touch!

We truly believe in the importance of community and have been blessed by wonderful families, friends, and a church family. We want that to continue!! Thank you to everyone who's allowed us to be a part of your life; we feel truly blessed that we've had the opportunity to be surrounded by so many believers and know that we have such an amazing support network. Thanks to everyone who's let us hang out with your kids and have shown us examples of Biblical parenting; we love the fact that we've been able to learn from you and it's really made us excited about being parents! We hope that you will all keep us in your prayers as we start this new journey!
